- Description
- Introduction to Finance expands student understanding of finance. Students develop their knowledge and skills in such areas as business law, customer relations, economics, financial analysis, financial-information management, human resources management, operations, professional development, and strategic management. Emphasis is placed on topics including financial markets, services, and regulations, as well as the need for effective safety and security procedures and information management in finance. Current technology will be used to acquire information and to complete activities. Throughout the course, students are presented ethical dilemmas and problem-solving situations for which they must apply academic and critical-thinking skills. Leadership development will be provided through FBLA and/or DECA.
